Indian Head Massage

60 mins £ 50

Indian head massage (IHM) is based on the idea that health and wellness come from balancing the mind, body, and spirit. The massage uses gentle pressure on the head, face, shoulders, and neck to release negative energy that may manifest as disease or injury.

Massage techniques such as strokes, kneading, friction and acupressure are used during a head massage to help increase the energy flow through the body, increase blood circulation and relieve knots.

Through its gentle and rhythmic techniques, IHM has been shown to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for promoting a state of relaxation. This can help counteract the effects of chronic stress and promote overall balance in the body.
